In 2021, Goodbody joined forces with THE GLOSS to launch THE GLOSS x Goodbody Investment Club, a female-focused community that promotes financial education and empowers candid conversations on topics that matter to women. We began by hosting a series of online events with the all-female Goodbody team presenting sessions on pensions, divorce and inheritance – matters that may affect every woman, whatever her walk of life or financial capacity, as well as savings and investments.

There was significant demand for information and a real thirst for knowledge. Since then, the Investment Club has gone from strength to strength – we now have 1,300 members. We hosted two successful Fantasy Trading Competitions to help women to build their confidence in the investing world and the Investment Club facilitated connections with like-minded women in a safe, non-judgemental community, built on expertise and trust.

So, what is next for the Investment Club? We are committed to growing this community and enabling more connection between women with a series of in-person events across the country in 2024. Learning is also a cornerstone of the Club: members have exclusive access to our new Introduction to Investing Masterclass series, created for women by women, available on the Investment Club hub now. The Goodbody Team has put together this practical, self-paced support and education resource which members can access as they develop their investing skills.
